Oxfam boutique on Westbourne Grove w11 was different to the other oxfam's i had been to
Its shop front was a matte black with large windows displaying nicely dressed mannequins. Inside the floor was a deep brown varnished wood and the walls were cream with Lotus flower wall paper in some places. Behind the Display window was a rail of coats , some were the old St Michael label another was an Armani Blazer at £40, and one coat that really caught my attention was a creamy golden one, it was thick and well lined with a stand up collar, and a bargain at £35 considering it was in very good condition and quality. There were shelves with hat stands wearing multicoloured bobble hats,Bowler hats and aviator hats. Glass shelves with jewellery glinting in the soft lighting, rings, jewelled necklaces, bracelets and watches.A sign on the wall pointed to a new dedicated mens section which was round the corner from the point of sale. This area had baskets full of ties and belts, organised rails for suit trousers and blazers or casual wear such as Jeans and sweaters, and under the rails but clearly visible were rows of shoes.
This boutique was warm and cosy with good quality second hand garments, the staff were cheery and relaxed and the customers took time browsing the rails. I quite liked this store as it made me feel welcome and i appreciated the the range of garments on offer for such good prices.
