Urban Outfitters on High street Kensington had a very Large Glass front with wooden shelving units displaying merchandise and Mannequins in Fur trimmed parker jackets and hats.
Inside the store "Check it out" by Will.I.am and Nicki Minaj was playing, there were Pale Wooden tables and shelf units with army green cable knit jumpers and in the middle of the floor was a large white wooden framed unit with jumpers laying on stony shelves. A large pale wooden cupboard was used to display mugs that had illustrations and quotes such as an Alice in wonderland one which said "drink me" homewares floral flasks stationary, fuck my liver flask slut flask, electro music, The floor was beige and cracked and the ceiling and walls had exposed piping and brickwork. Stairs to the basement and upper floor had metal edging. The ground floor Mannequins wore coats and layers of scarves and hats. There was a Media section with c.d's and cameras and also a music section for customers to listen before they buy.The top floor was very fashion focused and had established labels such as Vivienne Westwood,Anglomainia, Chloe and Cheap Monday. There was a more feminine feel on this floor with a pretty underwear cubical section and dainty trinkets. There was also a Display showcasing a young designer named Siyi Hongs work. The flooring here was a rough varnished wooden texture and the same wooden cupboards from the ground floor could be found here too.On my way down the stairs to the ground floor I noticed a sign saying that the table it was on was for sale at £20 cash only and pick up only, it was a lovely polished dark wood coffee table with golden flowers on it.Back down stairs i noticed some leather satchels by Cambridge priced at £98.Near the Mug section was a wooden shelf unit with books and flasks and mini sewing machines. One hip flask said "F**k my liver" which I found quite funny. The customers were all ages and mostly female. The sales staff were dressed casually smart with checked blazers and corduroys. I liked this store as it had everything and it all went together nicely, nothing looked or felt out of place and there was something for everyone.
